This is the second Wonder Woman costume I've created based on a cartoon. The first one was for my sister based on the Lynda Carter one. I still have to hem and finish the raw edge at the top of the gown. Here are pictures of the gown so far...If I sleep at all tonight, I'll be lucky. I've made about ten bodices for Renaissance Faires and this was my first favorite. This was the second Renaissance Faire outfit I'd made for Angela using basically the same pattern, but this turned out much nicer because of the fabric. Angela didn't want a square neck so the bodice is curved and the blouse makes it even more heart-shaped.

My second attempt at a Civil War era gown. The blue skirt lies over a white underskirt which is the same fabric as the bodice. It made an effect I hadn't even thought about - the white fabric's pattern shows through the blue fabric and makes the dress more interesting. I thought after being able to sleep for only a few hours last night, I would be able to sleep easily tonight, but no, that's not the case. Plus the little chain thing on the ceiling fan for the lights is not working.
