
Here is the Regency gown I made for a 4-year old, mentioned in a previous post. Isn't she precious? She said she liked Cinderella and wanted a bow in the front so I kinda went with that, combining it with the simple lines of the Regency period. You can't see it in this picture, but the overskirt splits at the center front. Two non-period details include elastics at the sleeves and a zipper in the back.
I made the pattern all by myself. This is actually the 2nd gown I made for her, so it was much easier. The first time, I had to draft the pattern about 3 times before I got it right.
