Gold Shrug

About a month ago, one of my friends needed to find a shrug or something to go over her dress. She couldn't find anything so we finally decided to try the fabric store and see if I could make something. We were just about to give up hope in finding a fabric that matched the dress in color and fabric when I spotted something really close to it. It wasn't an exact match, but by adding some gold trim, we were able to fool the eye. The shrug doesn't look very good on my dress form, but that's because my dress form is bigger than my friend. It looked fantastic on my friend and went perfectly with the dress so that people didn't even realize that it wasn't a part of the dress.
