Since my last post, I've finished the cushions, the bride found an off-the-rack gown so that project is out, but now I'm starting on a bridesmaid's gown for Jean.
She and the bride went fabric shopping and found really gorgeous satin and a light-weight embroidered tulle in periwinkle blue.
The bride wanted it in the Regency style, but modern and not costumey.
So today, Jean came over and we perused the world wide web for ideas. One of the first inspirations we found stuck so I made a sketch and we're going to go with that.
Once I have my scanner hooked up, I can start uploading my sketches to document my thought process and evolution of an idea into the actual product.

Man...another wedding. Seems like everyone is either getting married or divorced these days. Good luck with your project! I'm sure it's gonna be gorgeeeeeeous!
