Here's a Regency gown I designed and constructed for Jean about two years ago. She wanted these colors that reminded me of the Medieval styles. So I found burgundy and gold satins that complimented each other, and matching trim.
I have made about a dozen Regency gowns so far, and it's something really fun to do because it's a challenge to be creative when you're constrained to a high waist, short cap sleeves, and floor length gown.
