Late 18th Century Gown

Here's a gown I made right after watching the first "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie. I was surprised how easy it was to make. It fit perfectly on the first try and the back is made of one piece from the neck to the hem. I used the pattern from Patterns for Theatrical Costumes by Holkeboer.
I am bad in that I didn't leave myself time to add more details. There should be a lot more ruffles and details on the front of the gown. I also should've made a petticoat so that the Pocket Hoops don't show so much.
But I was really happy with the overall effect.
Also, notice this was when I first moved into my apartment years ago so that's why you can't see any furniture. I was really picky when it came to choosing a couch. :)

Moving right along with the pictures, I see. Don't you love to be inspired? Teehee! I remember that couch search! And you ended up with a gorgeous one, I must say. I can't wait to have a nice livingroom with a couch that isn't old and stained. One day...ONE DAY.
