Halloween

I had so much fun this Halloween because I got to go trick-or-treating with Cathie and her 2 year old niece. Cathie's niece was so adorable dressed up as a cow. She was so cute that some people gave Cathie and me some candy too.
After a week of sewing, including sequestering myself in my apartment for the last two days, I was able to finish my CanCan outfit. Well, finished enough to wear out. There are still some touches I want to finish like a little headband/hat with feathers, attaching the ruffled part to the main skirt, and adding black lace to the corset and the matching panty.
Once again, I can't post pictures until I develop the pictures. I'll add more details when I have pictures.
For now, here's a picture of Jean's daughters wearing the cloaks I made them. I just cut out the fabric in a complete circle and finished the edges with my trusty Huskylock.

Beautiful Capes. Trick or Treating was fun. Too bad we didn't make it to Santa Monica Blvd. But next year! OH I have pictures for you! Yup....
